On October 2022, we took part in the first edition of the Venice Sustainable Fashion Forum 2022. The Forum aims to become the annual reference event to discuss sustainability in the fashion industry and study the present and future of such a key supply chain for the sustainable transition.
Institutions, NGOs, brands, supply chain professionals, representatives of industry and business, opinion leaders, sustainable transformation advocates joined the first edition to identify the most urgent challenges, draw a shared path of change and give way to an effective transition based on scientific and measurable evidence.
During the first day ‘Just fashion transition’ Karina Bolin, President of Humana People to People Italia, spoke about the best practice of the organization in the panel named “Environmental, social and economic impacts of fashion suppy chain in a changing world”.

Humana at the international exhibition fair Ecomondo, Rimini (Italy)
On November 2022 Humana People to People Italia took part to Ecomondo, an international event that takes place in Rimini (Italy) and brings together all sectors of the circular economy: from the recovery of materials and energy to sustainable development.
Humana Italia representatives Karina Bolin (President) and Alfio Fontana (CSR Manager) were panellists at the sessions “Separate collection of urban textile waste “ and “Textiles as an opportunity: challenge and commitment of the Stakeholders of the sector” together with other important actors of the fashion system such as LVMH and Fendi and at the presence of, among others, Carlo Zaghi from the Ministry of Ecological Transition. During the expo, Humana team was present at the Assorecuperi Booth (the Italian association of recovery companies) and at the Textile Observatory Booth to meet visitors, partners, municipalities and potential stakeholders.
